The best of both worlds – combining a semi-geodesic structure with a huge porch that would typically only be found on a tunnel tent. A roomy inner and near vertical walls allow plenty of space inside for sitting up and gathering, and the porch has room for excess storage without impeding access to the doors.

Group-friendly features

Endurance tents are built with students and expedition leaders in mind. The tents focus on simplicity – simple for the students to use, and simple for you back at the kit-store.

Printed tent poles

Ever been faced with a heap of unidentifiable poles after an expedition? All Endurance tent poles come with the tent model, tent size, and pole location etched into the end of the pole.

Hex pegs

Everyone is familiar with the problem of bent tent pegs. Endurance hex pegs have a hexagonal profile which increases the strength significantly, whilst an aluminium construction keeps the weight down.

ID windows

Endurance tents have ID windows on almost all separate component parts – flysheet, inner, tent bag, inner tent bag and pole bag. This makes your life so much simpler back at the kitstore, and can really help on expeditions where tent components are split up amongst the group.

“Our Gold team girls love these roomy tents… They are a little heavier than our old tents, and when we introduced them there were some initial complaints – until the first night. They are just so much more roomy and robust than the old tents, and can take a good pounding from the wind (we tried them on Dartmoor).”

Anthony Moran- Achieving for Children Great piece of kit, having the stability to deal with wind but the large porch area to take all of the kit needed for a Gold Expedition. We use these across all three levels of DofE. Having the peace of mind, that the tent will not change over a number of years, means we can buy small numbers each year when we have the funding and not have to change our training of young people to a new or slightly different tent type. Would highly recommend.

ACS Egham International School / Bronze DofE 2017 ACS Egham International School We have purchased The Endurance Altitude 300 tents for our Bronze DofE Programme to replace our older Vango 200 tents. The main difference besides financial cost is it's heavier and more robust shell. The luxurious space for sleeping and keeping kit in is a huge bonus for the students. At first they did not appreciate the design nor comprehend how to quickly assemble it. However, they truly enjoy it's durability and have improved their set up time by two fold now. And they like the bright green too! Thanks from ACS Egham

Bentley Wood High School for Girls. Our Gold team girls love these roomy tents because of the front area to stow wet kit, with the option of choosing which side to open if the weather is coming in. They are a little heavier than our old Vangos, and when we introduced them there were some initial complaints - until the first night. They are just so much more roomy and robust than the old tents, and can take a good pounding from the wind (we tried them on Dartmoor). All agree that the tents are much more waterproof and by the far the best school tent we have bought to date.

Alperton School - Watford The tents are excellent and have been designed with D of E in mind however we have had two tent poles break. It would be better if the inner and outer came with bags as we often have to divide up the tent (and weight) among different students. An easy way to number them also would be good.

    • Site admin: Fran – thanks for your comments! Sorry to hear that on the poles, shoot us an email and we’ll get that sorted for you. As to the different bags, we have Endurance Inner Tent bags available as an optional extra, and you can find these under accessories. As to ways to number the tents, the Endurance tents do indeed have a numbering system using the ID windows, one of the only brands in the market to do so.
