We purchased a mix of Regular 75 and Slimjim 65 rucksacks to support our Bronze DofE programme. They’ve proved a fabulous investment. Tough, hardwearing and above all extremely flexible to fit. Despite the range of participant body shapes and sizes for Bronze in Yr 9, we have always managed to get a good fit. Cant recommend highly enough.
These rucksacks are stylish, very robust and hard wearing. They stand up to constant use by our DofE groups on a regular weekly basis. I would highly recommend them.
Great value for money. We haven’t experienced any abrasion problems. I actually like the lack of the external elasticated webs you get on many rucksacks: it stops students overloading. The 65s is a great idea. We have always had problems with smaller students being unable to adjust their packs but this is not an issue with the 65s. Taking into account value for money and construction quality, I have to give it 5 out of 5.
The rucksacks are a really good buy! They are durable and easy to use. The students love using them and are easy to maintain.
We have yet to use these rucksacks, but on first inspection they seem very good. I particularly like the ability to label them up, although I was expecting the information card to be more then card, with will not last long in a downpour. At first glance however I would rate the packs at a 4 (a 5 if the label was waterproof paper). Overall they are simple, well designed and suitable for DofE.
The endurance quest rucksacks have also been a success.
