Team Colour Raincovers reviews
I purchased these as we had a much larger group last year and I wanted to make it as easy as possible for our instructors to spot our groups. Everyone commented on how much easier these made spotting groups from a distance and knowing which group it was so that they could pass on the location to the other instructors. Would highly recommend if you have multiple groups out.
We used them for the first time over the weekend, on our biggest Bronze expedition event of the year (and probably the worst weather). In short, they were an outstanding success! The participants loved the colours! The staff, supervisors and assessors were equally delighted and the comments were completely complimentary – everything we hoped that this product would deliver.
Last year we delivered 178 young peoples expeditions and these are great in terms of identifying groups but are a little expensive. Down side not robust enough stitching goes around the elastic and as a design feature it would be great if the bottom of the cover could be made with a slightly heavier material as it is a wear point. Site admin: Hello Alan, many thanks for your email and we really appreciate your feedback. We have recently upgraded the fabric on the Teamcolour Raincovers to a more durable Rip-stop nylon to help give the rucksack better protection against trees and hedges etc. It’s likely that the ones you have are from the original fabric but having said this… the covers being exposed to hedges, fences, stiles etc, so do get a lot of abuse. I will forward your feedback to our product team who will really appreciate your experience.

We have used our rain covers twice this term for Silver DofE at both expeditions in May and in July. Wow! What can we say – they are brilliant – great to be driving along in the minibus and spotting a group high up on the hilltop, or down on the heathland! The students loved the colours and although the weather was hot, we at least knew if it rained their kit would be protected!
