Based on the popular Endurance Crag 300 tunnel tent, we introduced the Terrain Neos for groups that need a lower priced group tent. It has a lower spec than the Endurance Crag, but we believe it is the best tent on the market at this price point.

How to pitch the Neos- Training Video
You can watch this tent pitching video during group training sessions, or you can forward the link to your students to watch ahead of tent training. There is also a printable PDF copy of pitching instructions here, if you prefer this method.
Terrain tents are built with students and expedition leaders in mind. The tents focus on simplicity – simple for the students to use, and simple for you back at the kit-store.
KEY TERRAIN FEATURE
Choice of tent poles
Terrain tents come with a choice of poles: Alloy poles are more costly but lighter and stronger, and they’re also engraved with the tent model name. Fibre poles are heavier but more cost effective. Our fibre poles have a carbon-wrap coating; if the pole snaps this prevents the pole splintering and tearing the flysheet.
KEY TERRAIN FEATURE
Fewer features than Endurance
We’ve removed some luxury features that you’ll find on the Endurance tents and used lower spec flysheets and groundsheets to keep the costs right down. The result is a really simple entry- to mid-level tent that retains some of the key group features and build quality of Endurance, but at a much lower price. We believe this is the best group tent on the market at this price point.
“The tents purchased for our recent expedition proved excellent. Simple to erect and use, no messing with different pole systems. Light enough to be used as three person or more comfortably two person and for the price what excellent value.”
